Every Child is Your Child – Restoring Hope, One Life at a Time
Launched in 2005 under the direct vision of Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome, the mission operates on the powerful conviction that “Every Child is Your Child”, meaning every orphaned, indigent, street, or vulnerable child deserves love, care, education, nutrition, and the opportunity to fulfill God’s purpose for their life.
As a faith-based, child-centered NGO in consultative status with the United Nations, the InnerCity Mission reaches the most underserved children and families in inner cities, deprived communities, and crisis zones—providing holistic support that breaks cycles of poverty and restores dignity through Christ-centered compassion.
Remember, every child is your child! Help children, don’t ignore children. They are our extension; they are our future. No matter how dirty or untouchable they are, think again. You were just that small one day, but you were fortunate to have someone help you. Many of these are fortunate to have us if we would only open our hearts, our minds, our eyes and ignore them no more. We need to help give them a home, we need to help educate them, we need to help clothe them. As small as they are, as needy as they are, as frustrated as they are, they have dreams. We can help make those dreams come true!
